How to talk to the newly diagnosed about Celiac Disease

March 16 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

We will discuss how you can help people whom you meet in your daily life who need more information about the gluten-free diet or testing for a diagnosis of CeD. We have gathered suggestions from the Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Celiac Center to share with you at the meeting. We will discuss how you can provide basic information about testing for CeD and about adjusting to the gluten-free diet so that these people you meet can learn to live a healthy gluten-free life.

We will begin meeting in the Overlook Room of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Turn off West End Ave at Mayfair Ave. as we have for our previous meeting room. Continue past the west entrance towards the back of the property. Turn into the back parking lot. The North Entrance is through the portico at the back of the building. There is plenty of parking, even disabled parking spaces near the entrance portico.

Building security requires that we have someone meet you at the portico door. Then you will take the elevator up to the second floor. The Overlook Room is located directly across from the elevator on the second floor.

If you have questions, please call Jack McFadden for help at (6 one 5) five 7 nine — 3 six 00.
